Cammie's 2nd Birthday Party

Cammie had her 2nd Birthday Party at Paradise Pond in Grapevine. She had a blast playing with her friends and family. Her favorite thing to do was bounce in the bounce house. She could stay in there for hours!!!!
Attendees were: The Briggle's, The Sharer's, The Johnson's, Emily, The Tucker's, Bart and Tanya, Christen, Avery, & Cindy.

We took 2 trips to the Fort Worth Zoo within one week. The first day we went it poured down rain after us being there only a few hours so we went a couple of days later. It was great weather and we had a blast!!! Cammie loved seeing all the animals and Halloween decorations.

Kiernan and Sharer Pumpkin Patch Visit

Mommy and Cammie went to the pumpkin patch with Grandma, Papa, and the Sharer's. All the kiddos had a blast. The clown made them all balloon animals, we went on a hayride, bought pumpkins, and took lots of pictures! All the kids had a blast!

Long time coming,..I know!

Alot has happened and I have just not had time to blog. So, here it is in a nutshell. Cammie is 7 1/2 months old and she is growing like a weed. She is now sitting up all by herself, doing the army crawl, and still talking up a storm. At her last doctor's visit (5/22/09), these were her stats:
26'' height (45%), 14.3 lbs (15%), and head was 16 1/2" (25%).

Cammie went to the pool for the first time last weekend and she loved it!

Next week Grandma Linda (Dan's mom) comes. Cammie hasn't seen her in 6 or so months so she will enjoy being with her Grandma Linda all week. Everyone is excited to see her.

Enjoy the pics and more to come soon...PROMISE!!!

Cammie's Update

Dan and I took Cammie back to the doctor today so he could check her weight and make sure we is growing. She now weights 10 lbs. The doctor said that she weighs enough and we don't have to do any testing....YEA!!!!!! The Neosure baby formula must have worked....thanks Carrie! Cammie has advanced to a size 1 diaper and is right on track in the clothing department. Monday was her 3 month b-day and she is wearing 3 month clothes. She is holding up her head and playing with toys. She is definitely growing up way too fast.

We could not be any happier with Cammie's results. She is sleeping through the night and only waking us up with some whining from not being able to find her paci. Once we put it back in her mouth, she smiles and goes back to sleep. She has come to realize that we will feed her and that there is no need to cry at the top of her lungs.

Spring break is coming fast and she will be staying with Grandma and Grandpa while Dan and I go to California with Best Buy. It is going to be hard leaving her for a week...I am mentally preparing myself now. It is going to be soooo hard but I know she is in good hands and will have fun with her grandparents.

Another check-up

Cammie had her two month appointment last Monday. She weighed 9 lbs and was 23 1/2 inches long. The doctor says she doesn't weigh enough so we have changed the amount of formula we added to the water. Cammie was diagnosed with her first ear infection. She is on the yummy bubblegum medicine!
I took Cammie back to the doctor on Wednesday and she only gained 4 ounces. Still not weighing what she should so she will go back in two weeks. Hopefully she will gain so he won't have to do testing. Keep your fingers crossed!!!
Cammie is talking alot more and loves to smile. She giggles all the time at Dan and I. She loves spending time on her gym, in her swing, and playing on the floor with her toys.

2 week check-ups

Cammie and I both saw our doctor's today and we are both doing great. I am healing beautifully and in NO pain. Cammie now weighs 7.7. She has gained 6 oz. in 2 weeks. She eats like a pig so I am surprised she doesn't weigh more. Here are her percentiles for her growth: head and weight 25% and her height is 75%. She got her Hepatitis B shot and will be getting other shots in the next week or so.

Everyone is still doing great and going strong here at home. Dan went back to work this past Sunday. We miss daddy being at home with us but now we have lots of mother/daughter time.

Cammie's Arrival

I went into the hospital on November 2 at 8 pm and they started me on the cervix pills. At 6:30 am, they started me on pitocin and by 8:30 am, Dr. Moser broke my water. Soon after, the contractions were coming faster and closer together. I of course wanted an epidural. It took the anesthesiologist 5 tries to get the epidural in the correct place. The first 4 times I was bleeding and he couldn't have blood interfere with the process.

Around 2:55 pm it was time to start pushing. I pushed twice and the nurse demanded that I stop because Cammie was crowning. Dr. Moser came in, proceeded to put her gloves on, and asked me to push. I pushed two more times and out came my precious angel.

Cammie Danielle Kiernan joined us on November 3, 2008 at 3:04 pm. She weighed 7 lbs. 8 oz. and was 20 1/2 inches.

We are home and all doing fine. Cammie lets us know when she is hungry, needs to be changed, or if she has gas. Those are the only times she is fussy. Dan and I are enjoying every minute with our little angel and we could not ask for anything better.

Sunday, October 19, 2008

We went to the doctor on October 15 and we now have an induction date if Cammie hasn't arrived on her own. I will be induced on Nov. 3 at Baylor Grapevine. Dan and I couldn't be any happier to finally know our little angel will be coming soon.
